Statements for your accountant. No more monthly file downloads.
Connect your bank to Altera once. Transactions sync in the background, and your accountant downloads the file whenever they need it. You focus on your business.
How to connect your bank in 3 minutes. (And stop worrying about it).
You do this only once. You need access to your business bank account and a few minutes of focus. We handle the rest.
- 01
Add an account
Go to company settings in Altera and click "Bank accounts". That is all you need to start.
- 02
Start EasyCheck
Choose the EasyCheck connection. We will securely redirect you straight to your bank.
- 03
Give your bank the green light
Log in to your online banking and confirm consent. It is a standard procedure, just like any regular login.
- 04
Done
You return to Altera. Is the status green? Great, your bank is connected to the app.
- 05
Automation is on
Altera will fetch new transactions automatically, for example once a day. No clicking required from you.
- 06
Invite your accountant
Give your accountant access to Altera. From now on, they manage statements and download them when they close the month. They do not need to call you.
- 07
Forget about it
Your accountant chooses the dates, selects the MT940 format, and downloads the ready file straight from Altera. You do not even know it is happening.
What you no longer have to do.
No more acting as an assistant to your own accounting team. You get back time and peace of mind at the start of every month.
- You do not log in to the bank on the 1st day of the month just to download a file.
- You do not have to remember date ranges or juggle multiple accounts.
- No more sending statements by email, Slack, or WhatsApp with a note like "Hi Kate, here is the statement".
- No more manually stitching files together if your company has several foreign-currency accounts.
- You only step in once every 90 days to renew secure bank access. That is all.
What people usually ask.
Can my accountant make a bank transfer?
No. Your accountant only sees what is in Altera: transaction history. They do not have access to your bank, passwords, or the ability to make transfers. You can sleep peacefully.
Is the file sent automatically?
No, because that would send it without context. Your accountant simply enters Altera when they are ready, selects the dates, and clicks "Download". They can do it without involving you.
What if the bank disconnects the integration?
Banking regulations under PSD2 require consent renewal every 90 days. Altera will notify you before that happens. You go in, click "renew", log in to the bank, and you are covered for another quarter.
I have 5 foreign-currency accounts. What then?
No problem. Your accountant selects all accounts in Altera, clicks once, and the system produces a ready package of files split by account. Fast and accurate.
